Waterville area Spay/Neuter assistance
If you live in one of the towns that is served by the Waterville Humane Society, Drummond Ave, Waterville, inquire at the shelter about their spay/neuter program. They offer $50.00 in assistance for a female cat or dog or $25 for a male dog or cat. This is for surgery only, not vaccines or other medical expenses.

The towns that are served by the Waterville shelter are: Albion, Benton, Burnham, Canaan, Clinton, Fairfield, Hinckley, Shawmut, Freedom, Oakland, Rome, Sidney, Smithfield, Thorndike, Troy, Unity, Waterville and Winslow

Augusta area Spay/Neuter assistance
Kennebec Valley Humane Society, Pet Haven Lane, Augusta offers spay/neuter loans payable at $5.00 per month with no interest.
